Milkshake: A happy day

Mommy v woke up at 3:45am this morning to the beep beep of the small metal tin next to her bed. It was still very dark but I decided to get up and see why she got up so early. As we milled around, Lemondrop was still fast asleep. He didn't even perk up nor open an eye to see what we were up to. So lazy!

We were then shuffled into the car. How I love the car especially when the hood is down! But it wasn't down this morning as it was a little too cold. This time we were in the car for a long, long time. We went through a few tunnels (I know this because Lemondrop is terrified of tunnels and he will shake and tremble non-stop when we go through one) and finally arrived at the destination, the Hong Kong airport. After a few minutes' wait, we saw mommy w!! I was beside myself with joy. Although the new surrounding was quite scray to me, I could not help but wagged my tail furiously and tried to lick mommy w. She has been gone too long. She smelt of the country, of a land far, far away, of snow and fir and pine. How lovely.

In the afternoon we were left at home to rest and sleep more. The humans returned in the evening and brought us to Cyberport Park. I quite like the park as it is big and windy, and there is plenty of space for me to run away from the pesky children.

Lemondrop went after the Yellow Ball again while I chased a few dogs and sniffed around. After a few rounds around the park we went home, and Lemondrop was chosen to be sacrificed to the water god first.

I tried to avoid it but I stood no chance. I don't know why but I have been given a bath twice a week for the last few months. They said it's something because of my skin. It's itchy, I know, and sometimes it can drive me up the wall but do I really need two baths a week?

But I do smell nice now. I smell of oatmeal. Lemondrop smells of human shampoo. The shame he has to carry with him! No wonder he usually tries to rub himself in monkey poop or cow dung or rotting fish.

  2. he's using the free shampoo from the Peak to Fong goodie bag, which smells like human shampoo ... mommy v likes it, always says he smells good, hmpf! we didn't get to cyberport park until 6pm since mommies were busy having massages ... but I prefer it as there are not so many scary humans around.
